If you click on a image in the filebrowser the image will be displayed along with some information about the image

Address of the image file
- Type
The images mime type
- Size
The size of the file
- File changed
The files timestamp
- Width
Width of the image
- Height
Height of the image
- Bits
- Channels
Bits and channels indicate the quality of the image
There are also options to :
- Convert/Change size
Convert the type of the image or Change the size of the image
- Crop
Crop a portion of the image
- Add filters
pass the image through various standard effect filters
- Sketch
- Grayscale
- Blur
- Emboss
- Invert
- Contrast
- Rotate
- Smooth
- Pixelate
- Brightness
Most are automatic but some will ask for values
