The default file browser lists the folders and files in your main (root) directory
Clicking on:
A folder will load the folder into the filebrowser
A HTML page file will open the page for editing in the building tool Note: The default editor for HTML files can be set in look and feel
A text based file will open the file for editing in the code editor
A image file will open the image in the image tools
A multimedia file will open the File options for the file
Other types of non text based files will open the File options for that file
Clicking on the + or next to the file or folder name will open the file options for that file or folder
Navigation Touch template has a back button for navigation Mobile template has two navigation buttons
[/] Back to main folder (directory)
[..] Back one level
Web template has a search filter a back button plus clicking on FILE BROWSER will load the root directory

Upload by URL from a remote website Attempt to upload a file to your site from an address on the web There are any number of reasons why you may get problems uploading files by url Attempting to upload by url from other xtgem sites with the 5mb upload limit will probably fail for anything except images You will just get a copy of the XtGem download page for the file
