You can force almost any file such as images and videos mp3's etc stored on your xtgem site to download instead of opening in the browsers default application by using a special 'get' variable added to the address of the file
?__xt_download=1 Note: This will have NO effect on links to files stored anywhere else except in your own xtgem sites folders
